Specification and Selection Notes
ASTM A615 Grade 60 or BS 4449 B500B rebar - can they be substituted?
Both sit in the 500 MPa yield class, but rib geometry, ductility testing and certification differ between the standards. The governing project specification should be followed; where dual certification is required we can supply material tested to both standards with a combined MTC.
Do you supply cut-and-bend rebar to a bar schedule?
Yes. Stirrups, hooks, U-bars and custom bends are produced to the project bar schedule and verified for bend and re-bend performance, reducing on-site cutting waste. Epoxy-coated rebar is also available for marine and aggressive exposure.
What lengths and bundling do you supply for rebar?
Standard lengths are 12 m and 6 m, with 9 m and project-specific lengths available on request. Bundles are strapped at 2-3 tonnes with heat-number tags, and can be loaded in 40-foot open-top containers or flat racks for bulk deliveries.
