Every batch of steel supplied by Sino East Steel is produced under ISO 9001:2015 certified processes and shipped with a Mill Test Certificate (MTC) per EN 10204 3.1. Third-party inspection by SGS, BV or TUV is available at the destination port in the GCC.

Our Quality Control Process
Quality at Sino East Steel is managed through five checkpoints between the mill and the container:
- Incoming material verification - every hot rolled coil or billet is checked against the mill certificate before production
- In-line process control - dimensions, surface and weld integrity are monitored continuously during pipe and tube forming
- Coating inspection - hot-dip galvanizing is verified for coating weight and adhesion against ISO 1461 requirements
- Final dimensional and mechanical testing - samples from every batch are tested for yield, tensile and elongation
- Batch marking and traceability - every bundle carries the heat number and batch mark for full traceability
Mill Test Certificates Explained
A Mill Test Certificate (MTC) per EN 10204 3.1 is the standard document for project supply. It confirms the heat number, chemical composition, mechanical properties and the standard to which the material was manufactured. When you buy from Sino East, the MTC is included with every shipment and is prepared in a format accepted by consultants and contractors across the GCC, West Africa and Europe.
Third-Party Inspection
For projects that require independent verification, we arrange third-party inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas or TUV before loading. The inspector verifies dimensions, surface quality, marking and documentation on the actual goods, and we only ship after the inspection report is issued.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you provide ISO 9001 certification and factory audit support?
Yes. Our plant is ISO 9001:2015 certified and we welcome customer factory audits. Virtual audits by video call can also be arranged for buyers who cannot travel to Tianjin.
What documents are included with each shipment?
Each shipment includes the commercial invoice, packing list, Bill of Lading, Mill Test Certificate per EN 10204 3.1 and, where required, certificate of origin, fumigation certificate and third-party inspection report.
