What Is Equal Angle Steel?
Equal angle steel (also called L-section or angle bar) has two legs of equal length forming a 90-degree angle. The L-shape provides excellent strength in bending and compression with minimal material weight, making angles ideal for structural frames, bracing, brackets, transmission towers and general fabrication. Angles are produced by hot rolling and are available with equal or unequal legs, in lengths from 6 m to 12 m.
